We are excited to announce that the MIT AI Risk Repository has been chosen as one of 50 projects from a competitive pool of 770 applications across 111 countries to participate in the @ParisPeaceForum #AIActionSummit.
The MIT AI Risk Repository analyzes and extracts AI risk frameworks into a publicly accessible, extensible, and categorized risk database, and two innovative taxonomies. The Risk Database contains over 1,000 AI risks extracted from 56 frameworks. The two taxonomies help structure and explore risks: a Causal Taxonomy examining how, when, and why risks occur, and a Domain Taxonomy categorizing risks across 7 domains and 23 subdomains.
This systematic approach to understanding and categorizing AI risks has already garnered significant attention, with over 100,000 website visits and adoption by companies, governments, and researchers worldwide.
