Branwen is investigating which epidemiological approaches could be useful for monitoring AI harms. She is experienced with a broad range of quantitative research techniques, including systematic reviews and meta-analysis, analysis of cross-sectional, longitudinal and randomised controlled trial data, cost-effectiveness analysis, and transmission modelling. Her analyses have informed public health decision-making at operational, national and global levels. She has a PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from Imperial College.
